SHAUNA FORSYTH, MS, CSCS, PN1
Maritime Strength and Conditioning is located on the 2nd floor of the Ted Canavan Athletic Centre on the campus of King's-Edgehill School and is owned and operated by Shauna Forsyth. Shauna has over 15 years experience working as a full-time strength and conditioning coach training youth, high school, university, and professional athletes. Shauna has trained athletes competing in the NHL, NFL, NBA, CFL, MLS and numerous NCAA D1 programs. Previous to moving to Windsor, she served as the Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning at Harvard University where she was responsible for the year-round training of numerous mens and womens varsity programs. She is currently the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the King's-Edgehill School boys and girls prep hockey, basketball, soccer, and baseball programs. Shauna also serves on the Nova Scotia Provincial National Strength and Conditioning Board.
Shauna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine and a Masters of Science degree in Applied Exercise Science; specializing in Strength and Conditioning. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and has been certified as an Athletic Trainer through the National Athletic Trainer's Association (NATA). Shauna has completed the Precision Nutrition certification program and currently holds a Level 1 certification through their highly successful sport nutrition program.
